Frequently Asked Questions
What does "P" (e.g., P2, P4) mean in LED displays?
"P" stands for Pixel Pitch—the distance in millimeters between the centers of two adjacent pixels. A smaller number means pixels are closer together, resulting in a sharper image for closer viewing.
How do I choose the right Pixel Pitch for my project?
The guide is the average viewing distance. Rule of Thumb: Optimal Viewing Distance (m) ≈ Pixel Pitch (mm) × 2 to 3. For indoor close viewing (< 3m), use P1.2 - P2.5.
What is the difference between SMD, GOB, and COB?
SMD is the standard cost-effective option. COB (Chip-on-Board) offers the highest robustness and best protection. GOB (Glue-on-Board) is an enhanced SMD with a protective epoxy layer at a balanced cost.
Can I use an indoor LED screen outdoors?
No. Outdoor displays require much higher brightness (≥5,000 nits) and IP65-rated weatherproofing. Using an indoor screen outdoors will cause visibility issues and rapid hardware failure.
What is the expected lifetime of these LED panels?
Our high-quality LED panels are designed for a long service life of up to 100,000 hours under optimal operating conditions.
Is front maintenance available for these screens?
Yes, many of our indoor models support front access maintenance, allowing for easy serviceability even when wall-mounted.
