The core of the temperature-sensing cable consists of one (or multiple) pair(s) of mutually insulated conductors. The insulation layer is made of a special thermosensitive material. When the temperature at any point reaches the preset alarm threshold, the insulation layer undergoes rapid changes (melting or resistance shift), creating a short circuit. The connected signal processor triggers a fire alarm immediately.
